Patrick Moriarty
Profile: Currently head of business development at IRC and leader of IRC's International Programme. Also project director of IRC's Triple-S project. I'm a civil engineer by background, with most of my working life over the last twenty years dedicated to a broad range of issues around the water resource management and water service delivery nexus. Recently returned to Europe after nearly four years in Ghana establishing IRC's country office there and helping to coordinate a broad range of activities - primarily in rural water service delivery and WASH sector knowledge management. My main area of interest is in how sector wide change processes can be ignited and supported to bring improved services (and more sustainalbe resource use) to a country's citizens. I find the most professional satisfaction working in the messy interface between policy, applied research and practice.
